Why We Do What We Do

At The Good Earth School, we believe that education is a powerful tool for shaping a more compassionate and sustainable world.

Our mission is to connect people with the environment, animals, and each other through hands-on learning experiences.

We offer a range of programs designed for all age groups, from children to adults, that promote environmental awareness, sustainable living, and kindness to animals.

By integrating nature, community, and education, we inspire individuals to become mindful stewards of the Earth and active participants in creating a better future for all.

Testimonials

Pamela Wong

Head of Community Partnerships, Singapore Cancer Society

Our facilitator Jeryl Yep was engaging and knowledgeable and, his and his team’s dedication to the cause was evident. He shared with us how waste could be turned into functional items, educated us on the different types of plastics and the different resin identification codes as well as the long-lasting impact recycling would make on the environment.

Felix

Committee member and event organiser

On behalf of Changi Simei Community Club, I would like to thank John and his team for joining us at Eco Green Bazaar 2024 held in conjunction with Changkat Changi Secondary School. Many praised the booth’s hands-on demonstration using machines which can be easily operated by our residents. We are pleased and satisfied at RTG’s commitment to educating the public on sustainability practices and we hope to collaborate more with the team for future events.

Joycelyn

Youth Guidance

The workshop has helped the youth to better understand the environmental impact of not recycling plastics in Singapore and understand the movement towards a "Circular Economy". They enjoyed and were really happy to be able to turn their recycled plastic bottle caps into something useful, like the carabiner and comb. Thank you for this hands-on experience!

Teacher Maga

MOE Kindergarten@North Vista

The sessions today were very engaging and informative for the children. They enjoyed a lot and learnt many new facts about pets. These sessions helped to extend their knowledge on pets and about their welfare. I hope to engage with you all again soon next time.

GovTech [AWA x GovTech SPCA visit]

Keep up the great job! I have enjoyed Ariessa's sharing and the spca tour. Everyone seems passionate on what they do and work hard for animal welfare.

Fang Ling

Schneider Electric [AWA x SE SPCA Visit]

Collaborating with AWA has allowed us to engage in workshops that are relevant to our colleagues and their families, aligning to the company's commitment to volunteerism. We enjoyed the workshops and returned home with not just knowledge on animal welfare but also, a greater sense of empathy and kindness.

Bedok Bethesda Tampines Church Children Ministry

Holiday Camp

Our children had a paw-some time learning about rabbits, guinea pigs, and dogs and of course, meeting our special furry friends. Both children and teachers had a great fun time together.

We also greatly appreciate your open communication, detailed planning and effective cooperation before and during the programme!

Parent [SPCA X AWA Tour]
